wagnis
Yes / No / Maybe — privately, just for the two of you.
What it is
wagnis is the tool. The questions come from a built-in library of catalogs — onboarding for new couples, money and household, travel and weekend plans, harder relationship questions, and adult-rated catalogs you can opt into. Each of you answers privately on your own device. The app shows you where you match, where you disagree, and what neither of you has gotten to yet.
Browse the library, tap to install, and you're answering in seconds. Catalogs are signed, versioned, and rated by the community so you can see at a glance which ones other couples got the most out of.
How it works
- Pair your devices. Scan a one-time QR code, confirm the short verification phrase, done. No accounts, no phone numbers.
- Pick a catalog. Browse the library, tap to install — or long-press a group to install everything in it at once. Each catalog shows a star rating from other users and the topics it covers.
- Answer on your own. Your partner never sees what you picked until you both have an answer on the same question.
- Compare in one view. Filter to matches, conflicts, off-table items, or unanswered. Mark the interesting ones for discussion.
Privacy
Answers are encrypted on your device with keys that never leave it. The sync server stores opaque ciphertext and forwards it; it cannot read your answers, your partner list, or which catalogs you have loaded.
